One year we went to the Montes de Málaga to better understand the nature that surrounds us and is so close to Colmenar. The activity started at the Hotel Bethlehem, where we have an excellent breakfast coffee and a good smurf. Then we started to Las Accountants, the nature center, where we hoped to Alexander, the same monitor that came with us last year.

After a short explanatory talk in which we learned about the different species can be found in the Montes de Málaga, we have begun Pocop path, a very nice route with spectacular views. Along the way we have been able to find some mushrooms, Alexander quickly identified them always showed us something different in form.

After a while we walk the shady forest, where there is usually more mushrooms, and there we have divided in groups and freely we have investigated the area and picking mushrooms. Most of us have found mushrooms, but some were baskets filled with much more than other, what luck!

Returning to Nature's Classroom and food awaited us warm: loin in butter, cheese, tripe, squid ... and an exquisite sweet wine.
