Meet the candidates for general elections while practicing the préterito indefinido
On November 20th the general elections will be held in Spain, without a doubt one of the great events of any democratic country. The features of the Spanish electoral system favor the existence of a strong two party system: the PSOE and the PP are currently the two major parties and are also often alternated in the government. So it is very possible that one of the candidates of these parties will become the next Prime Minister of Spain.
Here are two biographies to know the candidates better. As you know, in biographies it is very common to use the préterito indefinido (also known as the past simple), so with this you also have some exercises to practice this tense. We also include the completion of the verbs. We hope it is useful to you!
