A perfect combination for your Intensive Spanish course. A great way to feel part of the real Spain is to participate in La Rosilla´s cooking course. Enjoy this experience whether you´re a connoisseur or simply would like to embrace something new and you want to do something different on your visit to this wonderful part of Spain, taking home some unique memories .
Option 1. traditional andalusian cooking.
On this day, around 11:00, Lynsey a passionate "foodie", will meet you in Colmenar. She is a professional in cooking and will be your guide, your tutor and of course friend for the day.
From Colmenar you´ll drive into the "campo" (countryside), driving through the mountains, where you´ll descry the Sierra Nevada and the sea, enjoying the scenery till you´ll arrive at La Rosilla, the country finca for your course.
Here you will taste and create local dishes and sip an try wines and Sherries, and homegrown olive oils.
The dishes created will be enjoyed, Spanish style as a late lunch, alfresco on the terrace, with stunning views.
After lunch and coffees, at about 5pm, we will go back to Colmenar, giving you time to browse and visit the famouse local delis, offering salamis, hams, home baked bread and local wines.
The dishes may vary depending on season and of course can be changed to suit different tastes.

Option 2. Paella.
Enjoy an evening learning to cook delicious traditional paella. From Colmenar we will go to La Rosilla, where we will learn and create a traditional Spanish paella. After preparation, you will sit and relax on the terrace and indulge in your creation.
